By any means necessary

Well, I took your advice, Barbara, and made the count today by any means necessary. In particular, those means included having Miriam write the phrase I am not the center of the universe, if I counted correctly, 134 times, but she needed to learn a lesson, I swear!

So, yes, it's kind of cheating (even if not technically, at least morally), but without the repetition I still wrote 4,000 words today, which ain't too shabby since my combined totals the last two days was 0 (yes, there's the shameful truth).

So, I say I got through on a loophole and I get the cheese. Here's the caveat, though. My next electronic onerosity coupon is this: I lose the cheese again if, by the time we leave The Attic on Thursday, I'm not only caught up to Thursday's word count but 1064 words ahead. That margin counteracts all the repetition I used today, and means that I'll need to be at 15,581 words. If I could write 2400 extra words today, I can certainly manage 500 extra over the next 2 days.

Adam, how did you finish up for the day?
