Begone!

I got nearly done with the first Twister Wrister--for the second time, and still didn't like it one bit. So I got out my trusty ball winder and turned it back into a ball of yarn. Then I trolled the 'net and found the pattern for Maine Morning Mitts that everyone's made a zillion times and cast on. By Sunday bedtime I already had 2" and by bedtime last night only the thumb remained to be made on the first one. The WI Morning Mitts aren't as fancy as the Twisters but they're fast and they'll be warm. What's not to love?

Love these mitts! On the same vein, have you tried "Fetching?" It's a free pattern on Ravelry and has been my go-to gift on more than one occasion. I did tweak the pattern on my last attempt and liked it quite a bit better. Now to remember what exactly I did... ;)

Glad you like them, Jodi. I have made "Fetching." I like them but they're a bit short and I'm cold right now, so I'm going with the Morning Mitts for speed.
