I Can Breathe

I went back to my primary doc's office to touch base and get a referral to a GI specialist for the swallow-a-tiny-camera test. Then I went to the grocery and I could walk and breathe the whole time. I didn't have to stop and catch my breath or lean on the cart like it was a walker. Hooray!

One more stab at Lesson 9 in the new drawing book and this one wasn't nearly as successful as the previous attempts at Lesson 9. This is supposed to be cedar trees. It's terrible and doesn't look like them at all. I was tempted not to show you this but you gotta take the bad with the good.

Today's good drawing is the Zentangle. Once again I paged back in the days and found some tangles that I liked and turned them into a zentangle.

After supper I picked up the Summer in Monaco Campfire sock and finished knitting the toe. I like it. Now I have a new sock to wear tomorrow. I'll wear two socks, I promise, not just the new one.

When I was closing the shade before sitting down here I saw that the crescent moon was shining where I could see it so I tried taking its picture. I didn't hold the camera quite still enough but you get the picture. I also noticed a nice little cold breeze coming in the window over the head of my bed so I guess tomorrow I'll be putting plastic over the window.

I got the makings of a batch of Chicken Egg Drop Soup so I'll be cooking up soup tomorrow. I cheated and got a can of white meat chicken and a can of chopped up mushrooms so I can just dump them into the pot but it'll all meld together and taste good anyway. I have faith.

Hooray indeed! Sounds like you're getting back to normal and that's wonderful news. It had to be gratifying to walk around the store feeling good. Happy happy news!!
