But I Cooked Like Crazy Today

I made the executive decision to finish making the last three recipes today and not save one for tomorrow. To just be done. First up was Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls which is a ground turkey cabbage stew. It's quick and easy to make, smells great, and tastes terrific.

Next came BBQ-glazed Mini Turkey Meatloaves. This is the gloopiest recipe because I have to mix in the eggs and BBQ sauce with my hand. This one makes the most, nine servings, because of the way I have to buy ground turkey in a 3 lb. package. It would be silly to have 3/4 lb. leftover to freeze and try to use later.

Then I took a break to wash some dishes and do a little drawing. I just drew a few things from the cover of 20 Ways to Draw a Butterfly. Pretty soon I'm going to have to get some new pens, they're starting to run out of ink with all of the drawing that I do.

My final recipe of the day and the current bout of Investment Cooking was Easy Sheet Pan Sausage & Veggies. It's so colorful and fragrant when it's roasting. I was so pleased with myself that I remembered to use the green-handled scoop to portion out the rice for all of the servings. It make it so much easier to do all of this over the week.

After I got the last of the dishes washed and in the drainer to dry I came back here to check my email and found that my first audiobook, Horizon, is up and available for purchase! They say in an email that I have promo codes to use to get reviews but I don't know what that means. I guess I'll be doing research and asking questions next week.

I made my six trips down and up the basement stairs today and am still out of breath when I get to the top. One of these days I won't be quite as winded. I hope. Rumor has it that it's supposed to snow tomorrow. I hope not.

I love the cover of your audible Horizons. You've been busy with all that cooking plus traipsing up and down the stairs. But a lot accomplished.
