A Nice Day For A Drive

That's what I thought when I got up this morning. So I got dressed in my nice clothes, drove to Algoma (thanks, GPS!), and sold one copy of each title to Yardstick Books. (thanks, VR!) Sold, as in she paid for them. Yay! Hopefully she'll sell them and want more. I left her my card.

A Nuthatch visited the suet pellets today. It was the right Nuthatch shape but the coloration was a little different. I wonder if there's more than one variety. Excuse me while I go check... nope, it's the same. There's a red-breasted one but that wasn't what showed up. Just the white-breasted one.

I got ambitious drawing the gratitude journal page today and drew my view from the driver's seat as I came up to Lake Michigan in Algoma. After putting that on and selling the books on the page, I was kind of stuck for what else to journal so I fell back to my standby of chocolate ice cream and then remembered how much I love my dishwasher. Geez, I could have put the Nuthatch on. Oh well.

Let's see, what else did I do today? I listened to the sample recording of Chapter 1 of Open For Business, found one booboo, and sent the revision message. Then I booted up the manuscript and a scene to try to turn it from 3rd person to 1st person, had no ideas and no luck, so I dozed off when I was supposed to be thinking, and quit for the day.

Oh, and I got a message from the poet I sent Open For Business to last week saying she'd finished it and was there a sequel. I had to confess that I'm still wrestling with the first draft but it was a real mood elevator to hear. I wish I could write faster but I seem to have one speed.

You had a profitable day yesterday. Congrats!! Isn't GPI wonderful?? It's like a magic carpet that takes you right to wherever you want to go and keeps you company along the way. And who doesn't love their dishwasher?? It's my favorite applicance.
