I didn't see many birds today. A Sparrow stopped by for a fleeting look at the empty feeder and flew away before the feeder stopped spinning. Did I ever tell you how much I like it that the feeder spins when birds fly in and land on it? It makes me smile almost as much as the panicked look on the face of the juvenile Starlings that land on the Slinky.
The project of the day out of Ink & Wash Florals was a peony. I like the way it turned out but I'm not crazy about the ink part of it. But I think the big flower looks kind of like a peony.
After supper and before Friday Night Knitting I worked on the gratitude journal page but ran out of time before I colored it in. I thought about doing it after knitting but decided to just do black and white for today. Maybe I'll color it tomorrow.
I worked on the Zauber Crazy sock tonight adding an inch or so of ribbing to the sock leg. It'll be time for the heel in about an inch and a quarter. Maybe I'll get there next time but I should save it for next Thursday when I'm the host of the Thursday knit night because there's not a lot of thinking required.
I hibernated today. It got up to 90 degrees with about 75% humidity. Ugh. Not walking on this hot and sticky day and I was knitting until 9 o'clock which is blog time. I'll try for tomorrow if it's a little cooler and drier. I spent most of the day laboring over the manuscript. I've moved back to the 1st person POV because I spent all week up to today trying to add parts to the 1st and 3rd manuscript and had absolutely no luck. Today I plucked out sections that I could turn from 3rd to 1st pretty easily. Then I watched some Amazon Ads videos from another guy who has a totally different angle on them than the guy I've taken class from before. Interesting but a little confusing.

I like the idea of the birds flying onto the spinning feeder like it's a Merry-Go-Round. Sounds very hot and humid up there. We're braced for a tropical storm today or tomorrow. Not a hurricane but still a weather event.
