Mundane reality never sounds mundane when you're writing it, Bob. When nothing much seems to be happening on the outside of your characters' worlds, that's when everything is happening on the inside. That's where your gift is, I think.
And as for you Barbara, I said it before and I'll say it again. You've got the largest market of us all. You may not have crazy invented universes, but you have something that people everywhere want to read about -- real life.
