Today I went over to Zambaldi because DS and DIL1 were selling Korean Beef BBQ Rice Bowls for supper. Yes, please! Oh, it was so good and so much. I'm stuffed. Too stuffed to even eat a little ice cream. But it was too delicious to leave any so I ate every morsel and grain of rice. I had a root beer too. Worth every penny.
I spent most of the day writing on Christmas at Seaview. I'm up to 16,847 words and 58 pages. The words aren't pouring out quite as much as they were but they're still coming easily. I broke it apart into chapters/days to see where I needed to write more. One of my chapters/days had only two pages so I added some words there and will look at it again tomorrow to see what else I can add. This little notebook is where I keep track of the characters in my novels. I write down the names and nationality of each one. It's really handy. For this story I'm going back to previous Seaview stories to add characters from them and make sure I'm spelling their names right.
This male House Finch had a lovely time digging into the orange half. I haven't seen an Oriole in days but then I'm pretty much chained to the laptop most of the day pounding out words. I'll keep the grape jelly and orange half filled, just in case.
Today's drawing prompt was Bugs. I dug out an old watercolor of bugs that I like and drew some of them with markers and a fineliner. I like the painted bugs better but these aren't bad.
That's really all I have to say about today. I'm thrilled that Aunt B commented on yesterday's blog. I've really been missing her. It's great to have her back.
