Last week I came upon an online list of craft & vendor fairs in the area. I shared it with GBB, we conferred, and today we registered for five fairs. FIVE! We're not sure who of our author friends will be interested but some of the booth options were already sold out so we leaped. That means I have a book event every Saturday in November. Should be interesting.
The Bleeding Hearts are still blooming. I couldn't take a decent picture without that old, rusty stake in the frame. I should probably go out and see if I can't wriggle it out of the ground. It used to hold up the honeysuckle that Dad brought up to Green Bay from his parents' farm ages ago. It finally died a few years back. I cut it down but didn't remove the stakes. I should probably do that. Or I could replant honeysuckle. The Hummingbirds would like it. I wonder if there's a variety that grows here.
Mrs. Oriole visited the grape jelly this afternoon. I'm impressed at how she blends into the surroundings even being orange and all.
However this wet Robin doesn't blend in. Robins bathe with abandon. This one had bathed, splashed around like crazy, and was preparing for one last dip before flying off.
I went back to Sketchbook Challenge for drawing today and selected Buildings. Instead of going out and making myself crazy trying to draw the house or the neighbors house, I copied some of the buildings on the page that the author drew. I really like the style and whimsy of them.
I have been very lax drawing gratitude journal pages for the last week. In fact, I haven't drawn one since May 27th. So today I drew one for yesterday in the morning (because that's as far back as I can reliably remember) and one for today this evening. DS stopped over again needing to use my miter saw to cut more wood for his hops trellis at the brewery. I love that he as to come here when he needs to cut big things.
Here's one more French Iris picture because they don't last very long and they're very pretty. Maybe tomorrow I'll give painting them a try. But not try to paint a portrait of them but to use watercolor to suggest them. Paint them loose and smooshy. (no, that's not a word but it should be)
Tonight OJ's soccer game was great. They didn't win but came closer and were more closely matched with the other team. It was a little hard to tell the teams apart because OJ's team is Charcoal and their opponents were Silver. So, dark and light gray. At times it was a little confusing. But OJ had some good moves. He gets better every time. It's so much fun to watch.

You're all set for a very busy November. I'd be buying instead of selling but I know you have more restraint than I do. Hope you sell lots of books.
