Another Sparrow landed on the patio to clean up the bit of spilled seed there. I was surprised that neither a chipmunk nor a bunny came to do the job.
The dark pink day lilies are still blooming. This one just begged to be photographed and who am I to say no.
And here's the other bud on Dad's Rose. It too has a couple companion buds ready to open in a few days to keep it company.
I can't forget to share more Stella d'Oro lilies. One plant is holding on to its flowers. The others all along the retaining wall have quit.
Today's drawing prompt was Lunch so I drew mine. It's the same every day so I didn't need to look at it to draw it. It's sort of a tortilla sandwich with grapes, an orange, and a little WW cookie thing. Maybe I should have colored it. Oh well, it's done now.
For the first time in five days I drew a gratitude journal page. I've given up expecting myself to do one every day. Maybe I'm going through an ungrateful period?
After supper I watched Midsomer Murders and knitted on the Llama Boyfriend Hat. It's the perfect pattern for TV watching, uncomplicated and easy to follow. This is the second time I'm knitting this yarn so I'm really getting my money's worth out of it. It won't survive another knitting and unknitting because it's looking a little worn. But it'll make a fine hat. And soon I'll have reknit the part I pulled out and will be into "new" yarn.
In the morning I finished another read-through of the Christmas novella and in the afternoon I worked on the Kindle edit of the other manuscript I've got in the works. It's a good thing I love writing because I do a whole lot of it. It's almost like it's my job.
