Well

I couldn't stop myself. I uploaded Spies Don't Retire again to Kindle Create--for the third time--and managed not to screw it up. I took my time and didn't hurry through making the pages and reading the last chapters so that everything's the way I want it to be. I decided not to change the three-asterisks that I used to denote scene changes into the separator on Kindle Create. That's where I got into trouble the last time. I'm not chancing it.

A female Downy Woodpecker visited the suet cakes this morning before I was irresistibly drawn back to the computer. She took her sweet time pecking away at the edge of the cake and enjoying the warming temps.

I knitted on the Zauberball Crazy sock at Friday Night Knitting but I have no way of showing you the progress I made. Holding my knitting up to the screen isn't doing it and I don't know if there's a camera on this thing. So this is the yarn I'm using.

This is going to be an abbreviated blog post because I'm not at home and I don't have my camera which is where the picture that I drew today is living. All of these pictures are from the archives. Two are recent but the yarn picture is from two couches ago, that's how long I've had the yarn. I have the internet though so I'm determined to give you a little bit to read. Just so you know I'm thinking about you.

Thank you for the abbreviated blog entry. Even a short one is my "good morning" from you. Love that red yarn. It's my favorite color too.
