Since I spent so much time on the laptop I don't have any bird, squirrel, or bunny pictures. I don't have a picture of the frozen solid birdbath with a Mourning Dove perched on the ice either. I saw it, but I didn't take a picture.
I did manage to draw this Mummy on a Flying Carpet. It was pretty fun to draw, didn't need too much erasing, and is the second last figure in Half Hour of Pencil Power.
And I did a little yarn research because the Sweet Feet yarn I was knitting into a sock was almost totally merino wool and didn't have any nylon in it. (Which means it would not be very washable and would probably felt when walked on.) That made me suspicious so before I got farther than an inch of cuff I looked up the yarn on Ravelry and discover that despite having "feet" in its name it isn't meant for socks. *sigh* So I pulled out what I had and cast on with this Zauberball Crazy yarn in dark red. It's not much but it's a start. The other yarn was going to be so pretty too. Ah well.
I got to do the school run this afternoon and deliver a few boxes of Girl Scout cookies on the way home so that was my big excitement for the day. I know, I lead a fascinating life.

A frustrating day all the way around. Taking a little break from Spies Don't Retire is probably a good idea. Just put your mind in neutral and veg for a while.
