That's what I named the rock duo that I've sent to Seaview and then to the Sunday beach bar party in the manuscript I'm working on. Never having been a fan girl of any musicians or at least if I was I don't remember, I suspect that my scene is rather pallid. I'll let it sit for a while and maybe come up with something to pep it up.
First thing this morning I listened to the last two chapters of audio files of Open For Business, wrote up the miniscule list of changes that have to be made, and got them emailed to TH. Once she makes the changes and I approve the production, I get to pay her, and then ACX puts it through quality checks which take about a week, then it goes onto Amazon, Audible, and iTunes. Yippee!
I saw this little rosebud opening up on Dad's rose when I glanced out my window this afternoon so I had to go out and take its picture. I can't describe the velvety red of this flower. It's exquisite.
For supper tonight I had the first serving of Ground Sesame Chicken with brown rice. I cooked some carrots but forgot to eat them until I was finished with the bowl of chicken and rice. Oh well, at least I ate them. This recipe is pretty good but the next time I make it I'll put in one fewer tablespoon of Truvia brown sugar substitute. The recipe writer warns that it's sweeter than Lakanto Monkfruit brown sugar substitute and gives a different measurement. It's still a little too sweet so I'll reduce it and it'll be fine. I froze some chopped scallion tops that I put on the top when I heated it up. They got kind of limp and didn't really add much to the taste but they looked nice.
I went in for a dental cleaning this morning. I don't really like all the scraping and gouging that entails. My teeth are sensitive plus it sounds dreadful. At least it went fast and now my teeth feel extra smooth so I suppose that's something. And I don't need to go back for 6 months.

What a coincidence -- we both had the ordeal of having our teeth cleaned yesterday. I hate the whole procedure but now it's done for the next four months for me -- six for you. I've neglected my teeth for too many years and now I'm paying the price. But at least I have teeth!!
