More Balanced Day

I did other stuff today instead of just writing stuff. In the morning after yoga and my shower, I uploaded Better Than Mom's audiobook to INaudio so it can have wider distribution. In the picture I'm fixing the chapter names (one at a time, all 31 of them) because that's what the buyer sees, so they have to look nice, not some code-like name the narrator gave them. Next I'll do Horizon and then Island Dreams and that'll be all six of them loaded up. Instead of just available on Amazon, Audible, and iTunes, my audiobooks are now available on 32 other outlets. Thirty-two! Maybe someone will see one and buy it. Fingers crossed.

Hopefully you can see the squirrel on the cob corn. If it hadn't been covering one of the cobs, I don't think I'd have seen it because its fur is the same color as the fence. It just hung there picking kernels off the other cob and nibbling away.

Then I noticed that the Red-bellied Woodpecker was on the suet nuggets. I have to remember to stop at the birdseed store next time I'm running errands to get more nuggets. I'm out. What's in the feeder is all there is.

I suspect that the same squirrel spent time on the suet nuggets too. It's hanging the same way and eating like a hog. It has to be the same one, don't you think? Although I have to confess that they all look the same to me, except the one with the white tufts behind the ears.

This evening I sat myself down to draw because I've been not drawing for a few days. Today's figures are a Calculator & a Camera. Fun to draw and they turned out pretty well. Maybe tomorrow I'll get out my paints again.

Then I drew a gratitude journal for today. My big gratitude was having DS stop over after work to carry the ornament bin downstairs for me. That was a huge favor. Then I dropped off a bag of knitted hats and a snow brush/ice scraper to a friend who needed the scraper (I had an extra one that looks brand new) and is going to a place to drop off the hats in a couple weeks. The best thing about that stop is that the receptionist at her residence bought a copy of Christmas at Seaview! Now she has one of each of my books. So very cool. She said, "I know an author" like I'm really somebody. Puffed me right up.

I got a package from Amazon today and it was a box about half the size of a shoebox. Inside was the item that's about the size of an Altoids box. There was a ton of crumpled brown paper filling the box with the little item perched on top. Seemed like overkill to me.

I can really tell the difference after starting yoga again last week. I'm amazed at how much change it makes in my balance and the strength in my legs. I'm so glad I started up again.

Oh, one cool thing. I've done the afterschool pickup run a couple days and both times a little Cooper's Hawk has come screaming across the street, flying fast, gliding really, looking like it's on a mission. I love seeing it.

Sounds like Christmas is officially over at your place.
