a Hairy Woodpecker visited the suet nuggets too! I rarely see one of these. Usually it's the Downy Woodpecker which looks like the Hairy but much smaller.
And the squirrel was back, this time hanging out of the square green feeder.
Tonight I knitted with friends in person. We had creamy potato soup, fresh homemade crusty bread, cranberry brie bites, spinach and artichoke dip, cajun crab dip, pita chips to scoop the dip, and chocolate cupcakes. There was wine too. I don't drink wine, I have water which I'm just as happy with. Alcohol and I don't get along. While we watched the (singularly unsatisfactory) Packers game (they lost), I knitted on the Pastel Meadow Hat. I think I have to knit two or three more rounds before time to knit the crown decreases. Big yarn and big needles make projects go fast.
This morning before my critique Zoom and this afternoon after the school run I wrote. I have a little action in these words, not too much, but I made it to 1700 words even. Anything over 1,667 is a bonus.
Today my DD got snowed on in Kentucky. We didn't get snow here although it was barely over freezing all day today. Windy too.
Tomorrow my DS turns 47. How have the years flown so quickly?

Yes, the years ago by so quickly. I can't believe LD is old enough for SS!
