I caught the Red-bellied Woodpecker on the square green feeder today. As usual. You can see the Sparrow peeking around the side to check if the Woodpecker was going to shoo him away. She didn't. She let him stay on his own side of the feeder but she rousted out any Sparrows that dared land on her side.
The leaves on my little Pacific Sunset Maple tree have finally started turning colors. They're very beautiful. I don't want to have to rake them, but they are beautiful.
Today's drawing prompt was Dance. The author sketched some ballerinas from a Degas painting so I copied one of them. I didn't to too badly for quickly sketching her in about six minutes right before my knitting Zoom.
Tonight I knitted the thumb gusset of Llama Mitten #2. I'd finished the cuff last week and so I started on the hand part tonight. Next I'll slide the thumb stitches on a holder and then knit the hand before coming back and knitting the thumb. I need to find some lighter color yarn to knit with next. This brown stuff, while soft and warm, is difficult to see at night.
This morning I knuckled down to write when I got home from the store. I got 1440 words written before my 1pm women's group Zoom and then had a hard time getting back into it. I finally managed to wrestle my brain into writing mode and ended up with 1728 words for the day. I signed up for an audiobook sales promo through BookFunnel so I made sure that The Seaview was ready for sale and even made a landing page all by myself without help from KM. I'm just hoping I did it right.
Tomorrow is another craft & vendor fair. I loaded the car this morning when I got home from the store. I hope it goes well. Fingers crossed.
