That's me tonight. I'm all Zoomed out. I had three of them today. The one at 11am was from Modern Daily Knitting on making year-end pages in your Bullet Journal. I did some pre-planning and went through my photos and picked out a couple from each month that meant something to me. Then I shrunk them and printed them off. I learned to skim each month in my Bullet Journal and make a couple notes of notable things, then I put them on the pages, one month per page, using washi tape to stick on the pictures and divide the writing. It's kind of interesting to do.
This Downy Woodpecker spent quite a while prospecting in this opening in the round feeder. He got very good at tossing things out that he didn't want. I was surprised not to see a squirrel on the ground under him.
Do you want to know how windy it was the other day? I looked out at the birdbath this morning and realized that it was so windy that water slopped out upwind and made an icicle. Amazing. Most icicles are made on sunny days but this one came on a very windy and overcast day.
The second Zoom today was a group of women that meet most Fridays to check in and share our days and our thoughts. Someone usually shares a poem, someone else shares a video or a song, then we write for ten minutes and share our writing. I guess you'd call it a support group. I like it and I really love the women in that circle.
More buds are opening on the Christmas/Thanksgiving cactus. And more are lining up to do the same. I can't believe that I'll have three flowers open in the same day.
Friday Night Knitting was my third Zoom of the day. I finished the avocado Alpaca Waffle Hat. All that was left to do was finish the crown decreases. Somehow I ended up short one stitch but it's a fuzzy, bulky knit hat, who's going to know? Well, you are since I confessed.
Then I had another skein of the same yarn all wound up so I found a different pattern using the same size needles and yarn and cast on. It's called Warm One. I've made it before and it's a nice easy hat to make. Very little thinking required. My kind of pattern. I've got a bin full of alpaca and llama bulky yarn so I can keep making hats for a long time before I run out. Maybe I'll make a pair of mittens to go with these two avocado hats. I've got five more skeins of this yarn in the same color in the bin. Avocado mittens for everyone!
I almost forgot. I made time between Zooms to draw. This is the second lesson of my new course, I forget the name if I ever knew it. The instructor is Swedish and looks like a bald computer geek but he draws the most amazing things and has this deadpan humor that cracks me up. Still drawing pens.
I've got my alarm set because there's another Market on Military tomorrow. Yeah, I know, two weeks in a row but last week was Small Business Saturday so it didn't really count somehow. Anyway, now we're back to the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month through May 17th. Yikes. That's a lot of Saturdays.

You did have a busy "zooming" day. I love your bullet journal. The pictures and the wasabi tape make it so cute. And your Thanksgiving/Christmas cactus is going great guns. Gratifying!
