When I was reaching for earrings this morning I meant to grab some articulated fish but instead came up with the dissent collar earrings. They are fashioned after the collar Ruth Bader Ginsberg wore when she disagreed with a Supreme Court majority decision. Given the current situation, I thought they were appropriate.
Then I decided to pack for the vendor fair I'm in on October 5, the day after I get back from my week at The Clearing. I'll have to unload the car, unpack, and then reload the car with the table, chair, books, rack, bag of tablecloths and runner, etc., and posters all in one afternoon. I thought it'd be really smart to get it all packed when I'm not rushing around the day before the fair.
Today's drawing prompt was Cafe & Restaurant. I drew my St. Agnes Class of '65 monthly lunch. It's a chicken sandwich, sweet potato fries, and a glass of water. Since I'm so bad at drawing people I just drew outlines to suggest people and left it at that.
After supper I drew today's gratitude journal. I cheated a little because I really went to the bank yesterday afternoon but I put it on today's page anyway.
At Friday Night Knitting I knitted the Llama Mitten #1 up to the decreases at the top.
Then I switched to the Iron Pyrite Sock and worked on knitting the foot. It needs to be 71/2 inches long. It's not there yet.
My laptop will be the last thing I'll pack in the morning, then I'll load the car and take off. I can check in after 1pm so I'll probably leave here shortly after 11am since it's a 2-hour drive and I want to make at least one stop, maybe two. I have a hankering for cheese curds so a stop at Renard's in Sturgeon Bay will probably happen.
I'll be back a week from tomorrow. See you then!
